Has Hunter Renfroe going number 11 to the Mets. Would love that for Renfroe, but as a Braves fan I might throw up if that happens. They list his position as catcher which I know he played at one time, but I can't imagine him being a catcher at the next level. Have to think he's going to be an outfielder.

Sorry, should have been more clear.

Only a 1st round mock draft. Doesn't have Cord or any other rounds beyond the 1st round in there.

Think I saw where Cohen said catcher might be his position at the MLB level, I

know that is where he played in High School. With his speed you question whether that is a good
idea since the wear and tear of that position will do a number on his legs over the years and he
will lose one of the tools he is exalted for.

He has the strongest college arm I've ever seen. Someone will definitely think about trying him at catcher.

I'm sure hunter would rather stay outfield. If they switch him to catcher, he could be in the minors a while longer since he hasn't caught much. Maybe someone drafts him as catcher and he doesn't sign because he wants to play of -- wishful thinking.

As a Saints fan I did a quick vomit when the Buc's drafted Banks.

The speed is why I question him at catcher.

He's got too good of speed to hide behind the plate. Now he's definitely got a great arm that would fit at catcher, but I think it would be more effective in the outfield. Not to mention he's really not played catcher in a while and has made a great home in the outfield. I think long term you get more bang for your buck with Hunter in the outfield.

According to his ex High School coach the Red Sox love Hunter and want him

badly, I guess they see him as possibly the next Carlton Fisk.

To be honest, I'm still leery of JB playing in the pros at corner. The Saints didn't have enough room to take a chance on him. His 40 time is a worry. There are far too many wideouts who might blow by JB on a fly pattern or deep post. I have a hard time imagining him covering someone like Vernon Davis--who ran a 4.38 as a tight end. Slay, on the other hand, is more of a prototypical pro DB.
