Scout Steve says former 2011 MSU commit Devante Scott has committed to us for 2013

He was the #53 RB out of high school in 2011, didn't have the grades, then went to Co-Lin. He's listed as a WR now. First commit of the 2013 class. I'm hoping this is the first of a few more that we will get during junior days.

Outstanding athlete. Did pretty much everything for the offense, but I thought his best position was wide receiver. He could really go up and get the ball. Also a good kick returner, and could fill that role for us.

Went back looking for this thread so I wouldnt be posting videos to facebook. Surprised that there was no discussion. A curious commit, being that we have a small class. An early Juco is not what some thought was coming. He mostly played WR and a little RB last year. Its being said he could be a DB. I wonder what we want him as because we will need DB's and slot WR's due to graduation next year
