Bunch of people thinking Sunday was Tomlinson's last game as a Charger, and I would probably agree with that.

But I hope they get a RT in the first round to help out. Might be the worst run-blocking line in the NFL.

Career low numbers in almost every statistical category, except TDs (3rd lowest total of career). He has lost his ability to make those cuts that made him such a game changer, plus they save $4 million if they cut him by first week in March (roster bonus).

The Chargers may have to trade up to get AD if he runs in the 4.5s at the combine, and even if he doesnt I think the Redskins like him enough to give him a look at #37 overall. Not saying they will take him there, but with decent numbers at the combine he might be gone by 60.

...does this prove that Croom knows how to produce NFL running backs?

If you're good, you're good. Dixon was a completely different back to me this year than any year under Croom. I dare say he got better coaching and improved his standing.

got him to stop tip toeing. I don't know if it was Knox, or whoever, but someone definately deserves credit.

I've heard some people talk about how Knox is a good recruiter and not much of a coach, but he sure has produced some good backs in his career- Cadillac, Ronnie Brown, Heath Evans was a good fullback, and now Dixon.
