obviously not a lot to learn from the first scrimmage. I thought the MVP for what I saw was Gus Walley, he had 6 catches while I was there. Thought all 3 QB's had more good than bad. Not much going in the running game, but obviously without any real option, that's going to be the case. Malcolm Johnson had a couple of long catches, Robert Johnson had a couple of catches as well. Defensively, I watched Nick James when he was in, and I thought he looked OK, was running all the way through the play, getting downfield. Defense is clearly way ahead of the offense right now, as you would expect. Only two people not involved that hadn't previously been held out were Chris Jones and Josh Robinson. Everybody I spoke to said Jones could have played if it was a game, Robinson, I don't know what was wrong with him, he dressed out, but just ran stands and did agility drills throughout.
