Virginia High scrimmaged cross-town (and interstate) rival Tennessee High (5A in TN) last night
The two schools have played each other 113 times since 1911 but haven't played since 2019. However there is considerable interest in reviving the rivalry for the 2025 cycle

Graham outscored Greenbrier East 5 tds to 1. Don't know any details, I couldn't make it there. Somebody provide details, if possible
Buckingham looked very good against a massive athletic Brookville team.
Graham plays 2022 WV Single A Runner Up State Champs James Monroe next weekend in a Foundation Game. JM is supposed to be even better this yr and might be the WV Single A favorite to win the championship. Good test for the G-Men coming up. The week after next, Graham starts the season against what is probably tne number 1 AA team in WV in rival Bluefield High, WV.
I think the battle of the axe is gonna be 1 for the ages this year.

Tazewell out-scored Carroll Counry 2 tds to 1 in varsity action. CC won the jv battle 2 tds to 0. Tazewell looked prettty good when they went to the spread and started tossing the ball around.
