With Jefferson likely to return next year, I'm really not too concerned about our post play. I really don't think Jeter is that far off from being a very solid 5 man, and Jefferson can certainly handle the position competently against most college 5s. Combine that with Giles at the 4 -- which from a defensive / rebounding perspective is a huge upgrade around the rim over Ingram, and Tatum at the 3 -- replacing Matt Jones / Kennard at the 3, I really don't think next year's squad will too many issues inside if we can stay healthy. And, obviously, I think it's encouraging that Obi was able to give us some solid minutes against ND. If he can become a reliable deep bench player (e.g., foul issues, short-term injury), I think we should have more than enough inside to be an excellent overall team.
Obviously it helps that our 1-4 is going to be absolutely loaded -- frankly even without Grayson. Next year's team may not quite have the star potential of the 14-15 team b/c of Giles' injury, but it does have about as much -- if not more -- overall talent. Without Grayson, that team will be a very strong final four / NC favorite entering next season. With Grayson, we're talking about a team that will be expected to be on the level of Duke's best teams ever.
