Season Predictions before tipoff?

Basketball starts tomorrow and I can’t help but feel like we’re the most underrated team in the country. As for our season record I think losing Mack for 6 games is a hit and although Navy and Furman are pretty good Mid-Majors, we should be able to easily go 4-0 for our first set of games. I think we probably go 1-1 in the Bahamas. I honestly feel confident we can win @Michigan State, and win the rest of the games up until Kentucky. I think we probably take a loss at UK, then win our next 3 games before taking a loss at FSU. After that I think we’ll lose at Virginia, against Duke, and at North Carolina. I think throughout that stretch of conference games there will be a loss at ND, Syracuse, or maybe at home against UNC, but in the end I think we’re 24-7(15-5). That’s the same record as the 19-20 team I realize, but I feel like we’re going to be better in a lot of areas. I don’t feel confident that we can make the final 4 right now, but the thought of us in the sweet sixteen or elite 8 doesn’t seem crazy at all.
Those are just my thoughts though. What do y’all think we’re gonna be doing this year in terms of record and postseason predictions.

Team seems too have good depth and offensive droughts should not be anywhere like previous teams had.Going to be a few growing pains .Defense needs alot of work . They are better than how their being perceived. I have no clue what these other teams look like so it's hard too even say how we fare . Uk i'm not impressed with. But we all know how our luck goes with that game.

We were just an average team last year and beat em.

I will avoid going too far with specific game predictions, as like any college basketball team in America, it can be a long season with some ups and downs along the way.

With that said, I have already made some uber-optimistic posts about this roster, and I join the OP’s opening statement about just how under-rated this UL team is right now.

I consider Chris Mack to be a most competent HC, and his roster right now is as experienced, as talented and deeper than any roster since 2013. The newly inserted fast-pace offense will take its toll in the 2nd half on a lot of our opponents, turning last season’s huge weakness into a major strength.

I gave my prediction a few weeks ago, but its so hard since all of the rosters change SO MUCH. I guessed 23-8 with what will be a top 10 SOS.
