Going to be tough to sell season tickets next year. They might want to rethink their plan to increase seat license fees.
They will sell out. Our fans at large will never give up their seats. Attendance is a whole different matterGoing to be tough to sell season tickets next year. They might want to rethink their plan to increase seat license fees.

I rarely go. Much better things to do. Hell when Frost was here I would get tee times around kickoff. I could get 36 in at Firethorn in about 4 hours. Rarely had to wait or even see many people on the courseWish alot of you guys that live there would stop going for a year or two and see what happens with the program and how they respond.
Is anyone else here shocked that you play 36 holes of golf alone?I rarely go. Much better things to do. Hell when Frost was here I would get tee times around kickoff. I could get 36 in at Firethorn in about 4 hours. Rarely had to wait or even see many people on the course
So you're not gonna be one of Troy's Hall of Famers? Don't you realize that the volleyball ticket scheme is going to double their revenue. And it's also going to "create a pathway for Athletic Fund Members to secure and upgrade their season tickets." (rich people get the good seats)After 17 years I am letting my Volleyball season tickets go. I hate to do it. But the required "donation" went from $1000 a year to $12,500 per year. Then you still have to purchase the tickets. Pay to park. I would love to know if this is another Dannen idea, because it reeks of something he would to be tied to. If this is his idea, when you take the horrible Ruhle extension into consideration, he should be fired. I assume they are doing the same in football, although the mere thought of them asking for $12500 donation for the dumpster fire that is the football program is laughable. $12.50 would be a more realistic number.
I agree on the sellouts. I don’t think you will see many empty seats either because - with the possible exception of Maryland - all the conference games are powerhouse matchups. They will sell out. Our fans at large will never give up their seats. Attendance is a whole different matter
This is the only thing this hapless program has left to cling to, and it only takes money (not talent or skill) to keep it alive. They will sell out. Our fans at large will never give up their seats. Attendance is a whole different matter
I have a coaching friend and him and his family have 12 season tickets and have had them for 40+ years, he doesn't even go to the games anymore, he just gives them away. This is the only thing this hapless program has left to cling to, and it only takes money (not talent or skill) to keep it alive.
This is partly true. It went up to $2500 per seat for premium tickets. Pretty outrageous overall. After 17 years I am letting my Volleyball season tickets go. I hate to do it. YES. But this year we don’t fall for it. We take on the Missouri attitude and say prove it, big talkers.I agree on the sellouts. I don’t think you will see many empty seats either because - with the possible exception of Maryland - all the conference games are powerhouse matchups.
And never underestimate the power of the off-season….. the hype surrounding elite in-coming transfers, new coaches, Winter workout phenoms, glowing Spring practice reports, Fall camp standouts, etc. will work its magic.
