Could it be the smell of the construction equipment warming up? I say NEZ gets bowled in before 2012

for all sporting facilities. We won't have anything finalized for over a year and construction won't start until 2012 at least. Maybe by2014 we'll have an expanded stadium.

let's say we start construction on the endzone after the 2011 season but it's not finished for the 2012 season. Where the heck do they put the students?

especially with the only demo being removal of bleachers...then we have had the worst winter/spring/summer ever for wet weather
or they are highly incompetent.

I know Texas and Bama both did their expansions where the lower bowl was finished in time for the season and they continued building the club/suite/upper deck during the season and on.

IF it couldn't be done though..all you would have to do is move the bleachers to the south endzone in front of the M-Club...some modifications for the players to run thorough and it would wok fine.

I believe they did this in '07 when we hosted the super regional in baseball, butwhy not open the Humpand let the overflow crowd watch the game on the jumbotron at center court. We could pack in another 10-12,000 people, charge a flat fee (say $10) per head, and use the concession facilities there. I think this would be a great remedy until we move forward with an expansion plan. It would also probably bring you another 100K from the game weekend.

Why would anyone do that when they can just stay at their tailgate and watch the game, most likely in HD?

Umm....lemme see:
Because you have lots of people who would love to come up to Starkville for the game and enjoy the atmosphere but don't have/can't get tickets to watch the game in the stadium, and they don't tailgate?</p>

I'd rather stand outside the stadium and watch it on the big screen or go to a restaurant and watch it than sit in the hump and watch it on the screen in there. If they had a nice video board in the hump, maybe. But as is...no way.
