Seat selection time slots????

For those of you that have already picked, did you pick during your time slot?

I'm curious how this process is working. From my understanding, we were all given a time slot to pick with slots every 5 minutes. Doing the math, if they stay on schedule then 12 people will pick every hour with 96 people picking each 8 hour day.

Looking at the list of scheduled times from an earlier post, it looks like they scheduled a lot more than 96 to pick each day.

So how is this process really working?

my math says that roughly 190 people are picking each day.

my rank (1700ish) divided by how many picking days until it was my day (9 from day 1). This comes up to 190 slots a day. Obviously, I didn't score very high on the ACT math section... So my math may be off.

Two people pick in each time slot, and they aren't assigning 8 hours a day I don't think.
