Seating at the game tonight

Most of the 10,000 was students. When I got my seat about 15 minutes before game time, I got pretty much the last seat in the student section, and I know there were hundreds of students in line behind me. Shortly thereafter, they started pouring into the old-people-sections, which were previously pretty empty.
This is a result of the new student ticket policy, which is that they've stopped giving out advanced tickets, and they let anybody in at the door with an ID, with no limit that I'm aware of. It worked out with this being a Wednesday night game, because most of the season ticket holders weren't there. It could get real ugly, though, for the next weekend home game...

They'll only let in a certain number for the actual student sections on Saturdays and wait until tipoff to let in more depending on the crowd. Or at least that would be my assumption and how I'd do it. But I'm using logic and common sense, so we know it won't be done that way.

Almost our entire section was students. Including two douchebags that sat and clapped for Bama in the first half and then suddenly changed allegiances in the second half.

...and I pay a lot of money for the privilege of going to the games. I don't like being called "old people." You may call me "well seasoned," or "highly experienced," or, in some cases, maybe "old fart," but definitely not "old people."

By the way, I was surrounded by students, most very tall, very leggy, MSU Volleyball players, one from Romania. I may be "well seasoned," but I'll take that duty any day, and I know my "almost well seasoned" friend, Cowbell9, would agree!

Who cares? This info is useless without knowing what you made on the English portion of your ACT and how much your car cost you.

ironically most of my fellow students call me old. If the Romanian needs a seat next time maybe you could share one with her...?
