SEC, Pac-12 commissioners seek NIL help in D.C.

SEC commissioner Greg Sankey and Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff met with U.S. senators on Thursday to ask for legislative help surrounding name, image and likeness policies.

Like the SEC needs any help. This is the beginning of separation from the little guy.

Congress has lacked cooperation for 30 years. I wouldn't expect any meaningful legislation on the NIL anytime soon.

Courts have been and are ruling in favor of the athletes who have previously been restricted on these matters. It may go back to the courts for an injunction if they once again try to restrict the players.

Players? They are suppose to be students first athletes second. If they want paid then go to European leagues, G League, USFL or Arena.
