Yea Yea I know its 4 months till baseball season but thats a hell of a note I figured todd, 8dog and some others might find interesting.

...around 1992. I'm sure all 12 SEC schoolshave had somebody throwin the high-90's since; for example,I think that UM's David Goforth was clocked in the 97-99 range early last season, though I'm guessing that was a "fast gun". But like many fastball-first guys, David has struggled as he learns how to pitch and not merely throw.

was pretty consistently at 97 for us. As far as 100- maybe Ben McDonald? I won't refute John Burke hitting 100. Josh Fields for Georgia could get it up there too.
