If both schools that enter into the SEC are Big 12 schools do you think Vandy could end up in the SEC west? Obviously if it is two big 12 schools they both will be in the West so that means one school has to move to the East. The most obvious choice would either be Alabama or Auburn. I don't think those two schools are going to want to split. That could change two rivalrys for Alabama one being Tenn and the other being Auburn. Do you think it could shake out this way?

not a snowballs chance in hell.

14 teams would merely be a 1-2 year stopover before adding 2 more programs to the east. easiest solution to maintain rivalries and balance is for mizzou to play in the east for 1-2 years and everything else remain the same.

I feel strongly they are not going to split Alabama and Auburn. Heck I hope they get rid of the East and West all together and have the two best team play in the championship. Obviously the Conference would have to make the rotation of schedule equal. I don't want it like the old days when Ole Miss dodged Alabama. How many time did Ole Miss play Alabama before the conference split? Heck how many times did they play Alabama in the 60's during their hay days? </p>

You may be able to swap a couple of teams but for the most part that is how it would pan out. The South would be way too strong.

I think Old rivalry's are going to cause the SEC to change things. How they do the realignment I don't know.

two teams switch sides each year. Goes on a 7-8 year cycle. First year MSU n Kentucky flip, second year Ole Miss n Vandy flip with MSU n Kentucky going back to original sides, third year Auburn n Georgia flip, fourth year Alabama and Tennessee flip, fifth year Arkansas and South Carolina flip, sixth year LSU and Florida flip, seventh year aTm and Mizzou flip, eighth year UNC and VTech flip. Then it starts back over. One year out of eight we would be in the East and the other 7 we'd be in the West. I know I know too crazy but I think it'd be fun to see.
