That's because the guy at the helmet project redirects all hotlinked images to that image. The only way you see the real image is if it is stored in your cache.

we used some form of the interlocking MSU logo from 1979-2003. Why wouldn't we go back to that? Other than the cowbells, it's the closest thing to a football tradition we have.

find a logo most fans will/still like and return to the maroon helmets and stick w/it.

No a consistent logo does not make a winning team, but most winning teams don't change their logos (much)
