Looking back at regional play some interesting dynamics among the SEC participants.
SEC sent ten teams to the regional round. Four 1 seeds and six 2-3.
Only two of the four 1 seeds, who were playing at home, made a super but four of the six 2-3 seeds won their regional on the road.
Neither of the 2 teams that played for the SECT championship made it past the regional round.
Despite sending 6 teams to supers, nobody in the SEC played out of conference which unfortunately limited the SEC to 3 teams in the CWS.
