Oh crap. When we get overlooked by the Belk Bowl, does that mean I have to shop at Dillard's?

Does this mean there's no option for either B'Ham or Shreveport? How sad. **

I was hoping we'd add another Florida bowl and the New Orleans Bowl, but I'll take Belk and Texas. Houston in particular will be a fun trip.

Liberty Bowl is now Big 12 vs SEC

The American Athletic Conference has now lost ties with the Liberty, Russell Athletic, Pinstripe, and Belk bowls.

So: Orlando, Charlotte, Memphis, Nashville, Jacksonville, Houston, and Tampa.

No terrible options. It would be nice to add the New Orleans Bowl, because I think no matter how far it is down the list, we'll always be able to get fans to go to New Orleans. I'd actually prefer that to Memphis, although Memphis is obviously attractive because of its location. It's a very reasonable trip for basically any team, but certainly for MSU, UM, Vandy, and Ark, who you would expect to make the most appearances there.

Without a doubt. We could play Arkansas College for the Blind and still have better attendance in New Orleans than a Baylor showdown in Memphis. New Orleans is the greatest sports town in America and the SEC always overlooks it.

Playing in Memphis sucks, period. Everyone lives in Memphis or close to it so everyone comes the day of and leaves after the game, and the town is a ******** (yes, I understand New Orleans is too, but it's a pleasant ********).
