I'm surprised at McKinnely. Tells me alot about how the staff feels about this kid to have him talk at media days as an underclassman.
They want to make sure we understand that 11:20 is a legitimate start time. I reckon we almost get it.

Why are you surprised? He was our best Defensive player last year as a Freshman.
And will be again. What's surprising is that you are surprised that we would bring our best defensive player to speak at SEC media days. The on field play last season should have been enough evidence to make you "feel" the same way the staff and majority of the fans do about McKinney.

To me, its more of a reward for upperclassmen/leaders on the team. I'm surprised that McKinney got picked over Skinner, Nickeo Whitley, LaDarius Perkins, Denico Autry, etc. That tells me a lot about the respect his work ethic and leadership has earned amongst the staff to go along with his outstanding play on the field.
