SEC Network

I'm pretty sure the Maria lady just said "white folks in Fayetteville are celebrating" in reference to an exhibition soccer match.

Everyone is giddy about the SEC network, and it's great, but why do we even have to hear about exhibition soccer, gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, and equestrian events? Is this due to Title IX? Do the girls sports have to get airtime? Not every univ. in the SEC even compete in many of these sports.

Also, Finebaum literally fell into a golden pile of heaven. His show is nauseating. I don't get the appeal of that ****.

2 reasons-

a- because those are SEC sports and we are talking about the SEC network.
b- even the mighty SEC cant fill all the programming time with talk of football. Its already too much to the point that its watered down and silly. More would be absurd. I for sure would rather watch women's volleyball than a 'classic' Iron Bowl game. There are 20 things I would watch before either of those, but if forced- hell yes women's volleyball would win out.

It behooves the SEC to use girls sports to keep the IRS off their backs. Not only that, but they can write off the losses.

I'd watch MSU soccer or volleyball over most anything on TV really.
