Landon Sims stats are just mind-blowing. 1 ER in all of his SEC appearances and has struck out 43 of the 83 batters he has faced.

Scotty Dubrule has been quietly coming along, and Kellum Clark has been a huge addition to the lineup.

On the flip side, Kamren James has really been on a slide, although he did get a dinger this weekend.

Our pitching is interesting. It's like you never know what you're gonna get. Mac and Bednar were really good this weekend, but Fristoe was a bit of a mess. Then Harding redeems himself from the Mizzou series.

That would be a heckuva balanced lineup. Right now, Dubrule has been hitting despite having no protection in the order (Leggett and Forsythe behind him). Hitting between Rowdey and TA would get him better pitches to hit.

Flip side argument is that TA has really been killing it in the two hole, and the bottom of that order could be a really big rally killer if James is still struggling.

State is a much better team as a frontrunner than they are having to come back from deficits, and Fristoe has a bad habit of putting us in early holes lately.

No disagreement. I just haven't seen anything that is obviously a better alternative to seeing what we get from Fristoe/Harding and letting our bullpen do the rest.
