Thanks. Good to see Debrule's average ticking back up. Also, Hancock needs to start hitting more doubles for us.

I dont know what our bullpen is beyond Sims, and maybe Stinnett.

Had the exact same thought about Dubrule. He caught a lot of heat when he was struggling earlier in the year, but he’s quietly gotten his average back up to a respectable number, and you can tell that he’s way more confident at the plate now.

On the flip side, that dang right side of the infield is our complete undoing. Put James there, and you’ve got an ok bat, but your defense will suffer. Put Leggett and Forsythe in and your defense gets a slight boost, but your lineup now has 2 gaping holes. Lemonis can keep mixing and matching til the season ends, but the bottom line is that we’ve got 4 guys in Hatcher, Forsythe, Leggett, and Skinner that really disappointed this year, and it’s hard to mask things when half your theoretical lineup is a giant black hole at the plate.

I don’t know what the answer is, but TA and Rowdey need someone else to step up in the worst way, and I just don’t know who has the ability to do that. Maybe Clark? I just know that any thought of this team possibly minus Allen and Rowdey next year is terrifying

Cumbest in LF. Clark at DH. James at 3b. Pick your poison at SS but Forsythe and Leggett cant be in the lineup at the same time. We are just going to have to deal with defensive woes. But Cumbest and Clark need to see ABs consistently because they probably have the most raw talent.

Stinnett and Simmons are your setup guys
Harding is a good long man.
Brandon Smith is your innings eater in blowouts either way.
Johnson, Tullar, and Chase need to be matchup guys.

I don't like seeing any of these guys other than Sims, Smith, and Harding come back out of the dugout. All the others seem to fall apart when they do.

They are gone. We will see what Gautreau can do next year. Its not like Tanner, James (I assume he stays at this rate), Cumbest, Hancock, and Clark are nobodies.

We aren't going to be a slouch next year. Lineup of Tanner, James, Cumbest, Skinner, Hancock, Clark, Meche, Forsythe, McDonald. Pitching staff with Fristoe, Tepper, Smith, Carmouche (those guys will all make a BIG jump, just wait and see). Sims, Simmons and Stinnett still in the pen. I hope we can get Tullar back. Not to mention Rokose and Hunt should contribute something.

I think that Johnson is more than a matchup guy but he only good for one outing per series.
