The only teams expected to go far we’re the four SECT quarter finalists. Three are alive. Sadly UK was sent home by a dog.L 2 KY 79. 15 St. Peters 85

W 3 TN 88. 14 Longwood 56
W 4 ARK 75. 13 Vermont 71
L. 6 ALA 64. 11 ND 78
L. 6 LSU 54. 11 Iowa St 59
3-3 All losses as the higher seed.
I half agree. I want to see our conference do well but a)once we are out I could care less. I root for all upsets andI don’t really care about any of the other teams, we lost in the 1st round. I wouldn’t have cared about any of them if they all lost and we won, either. Don’t care about the conference. Care about my team.
It's becoming obvious the SEC wasn't brutal.Again people want to have this narrative about being "battle tested" and playing in a tough conference.
I've seen this story enough now to make this think it's a load of crap. With the Big 12 all the years they said they were good to the Big 10 last season that got seemingly every team in to the SEC this season.
Maybe going through a brutal regular season conference schedule HURTS teams more than helps them.
This. I don’t care if the SEC is good. It hasn’t helped us any. In fact since the SEC got better we have gotten worse. So the rest of the league can go back to being doormats for all I care.I don’t really care about any of the other teams, we lost in the 1st round. I wouldn’t have cared about any of them if they all lost and we won, either. Don’t care about the conference. Care about my team.

What excuses will we come up with next? Why? Because of the tournament results? I think the SEC proven this year at least at the top that they were the best conference in America.
Why does this happen to seemingly every good conference come tournament time?
What excuses will we come up with next?
I think the answer is obvious. It's too early to call TN but the rest have done nothing.Huh? We are talking about whether or not the conference as a whole was overrated or not.
No one is making up excuses for losing to St Peters.
Bama was erratic all season as was LSU.But it helped us when we lost to talk about how great the SEC was and would kill it in the tourney.Well.....Alabama had Quinnerly out.
LSU lost their head coach.

True. I also feel like Auburn has been walking on shaky ground the past few weeks. It will be interesting to see if they have righted their ship moving forward.Bama was erratic all season as was LSU.But it helped us when we lost to talk about how great the SEC was and would kill it in the tourney.Well.....
It’s just bad matchups for the SEC. I think our conference got the hardest seeds to play against.L 2 KY 79. 15 St. Peters 85

We sure did.The peacocks are headed to the final 4.It’s just bad matchups for the SEC. I think our conference got the hardest seeds to play against.
You joke but it could happen. Would Cal be vindicated if they did?We sure did.The peacocks are headed to the final 4.
No, no it cantYou joke but it could happen. Would Cal be vindicated if they did?
I think UT will lose to Michigan.I suppose Auburn and UT could still end up in a final four.
Alabama and LSU the writing was kind of on the wall tho I figured they both get one win at least in this thing.
I don't see Arkansas doing much either.
And we don’t have a coach that knows what he is doingAlabama had Quinnerly out.
LSU lost their head coach.
I'm of the mind that it doesn't matter.Maybe going through a brutal regular season conference schedule HURTS teams more than helps them.
