Clickbait, but without a link to click? FAIL Wasn't this "college football alerts" outlet spamming our board with links to articles last year?

Like this was exclusive to one conference - Charlie Pell and Danny Ford basically ran payday loan services (that never had to be repaid).

At least the SEC denied UF the opportunity to play in the Sugar Bowl when the misdeeds came to light. Conversely, the ACC let Clemtech "keep" the '78 ACC title that occurred during their proven cheating, along with a mythical national championship in '81 - also marred by documented cheating. Their attitude is "do whatever is needed to win and worry about the rest later". It's a shame those "achievements" haven't been erased as a consequence for what they did.

Everyone knew this was happening. I am not really opposed to NIL. It’s just that combined with the portal it’s creating chaos in college football. I really hope this jumping from team to team every year ends soon. Three of the four players on the stage at the Heisman ceremony were transfers. I think players should be allowed to transfer and play immediately only one time even if their coach gets fired or leaves for another team. Also NIL rules should require a player to pay back the money they made if they jump to another team.

I think we can file this under "well duh".
For sure. And it for sure wasn't limited to the SEC. Anyone who's watched a few 30 For 30 documentaries knows that winning programs would go to great lengths to land a top recruit.

Oh yeah. This should surprise absolutley no one. But also, no one should believe for a second this was solely an SEC thing.
