1. It's sad seeing the East teams SOS compared to the West. It's why the East is still pretty good and the West is ****.

2. Mississippi still has a shot to play it's way into the NCAA's

3. For the 13th year in a row- our SOS is in the bottom half of the SEC

4. Bammer is going to have to win the regular season title to get in- which they probably will. They have 4 fairly easy wins left on the schedule for sure

Well at least this year the SOS had some logic behind it. Pretty much ever decent team we played before the SEC crushed us mercilessly

That win of KY gave the Bears one more shot at life but I just have to think they need to get to 22 wins to get consideration. Bama reminds me of what the old Stansbury teams used to look like. Look horrible in some early season games, atrocious offense at times, but good defense and hustle starts winning you a lot of games in SEC play.

our chances of getting to Omaha. In other words, it ain't going to happen. The KY win was merely a tease. Nothing more. Maybe we can make it out of the first round of the NIT (if we make it that far).

Thats terrible. It is a bit of a self fulfilling proficey, because once those East teams start to play each other it compounds itself.

I like what MSU did this year as far as scheduling goes. We played in a couple good tournaments. It wasn't who/when/where we played, it was the state of our team that got us destroyed in those games.

On paper, there is a chance, but I think it has to be 23 wins, and we won't get there, so in reality, the chance is basically zero.

What we have done is play our way back onto the NIT list if we finish decent.

No matter what Ole Miss' RPI ends up, ifthey finish 4th in the West like they currently are then they won't sniff a bid. I alsothink Bama can get in without winning the West because their record in theirlast 10-12 games is going to be solid and they are almost a lock to win at least 12 SEC games.

they couldnt lose it if they had to(3 games up currently, plus owning the tiebreaker over us)....I'm talking about them winning the overall title. If they lost the West, no way they could get in. Either us, UPig, or Mississippi would have to go 8-0 to finish to even have a chance at winning the West

As far as Mississippi, thats why I said "they have a chance to play their way in". Obviously 4th in the West wont cut it. They have to win in Starkville and get some other big wins to get that NCAA bid.
