SEC standings picture with 3 games to go

Still the 9 seed in the SECT, but the area around us has shifted some. We’re no longer tied with Kentucky as they are a game ahead, and are now tied with Vandy (but do own that tiebreaker). We are still a game behind Ole Miss as well, two games behind A&M still, and only one game ahead of Arkansas with a trip to Fayetteville still upcoming.

Our absolute ceiling is 6th but that would require a lot of winning and some help. We do have a more favorable schedule than the teams we are chasing.

Remember, the goal for SECT seeding purpose is to finish 8th or better and avoid a Wednesday game in Nashville. 9 thru 16 play on Wednesday, 5-8 get the winners on Thursday, and 1-4 get a double bye until Friday (Top 4 is mathematically impossible for us now).

Ive thought we were the 8th best team in the SEC all season... everyone ahead of us to me is a better more polished team other than Ole Miss.

We get that 8 seed, we've had a solid season, should get a decent draw in Nashville.. and a solid 6-7 seed in the NCAA tourney... we want to dodge that 8 line badly in March, and as of now, barring a major breakdown, we should dodge it.
