UA (in a whining, almost crying voice): Everyone gets a bye week before playing us!

SEC: The schedules were set and approved at a previous meeting.

UA (same temperament): BUT WE DON'T LIKE IT! CHANGE IT!

SEC: Okay, we'll see about changing it for you.

The rest of the teams (surprised, incredulous reaction): Hey, wait a second! That's not fair!

SEC: Don't make me come over there and sanction each and every one of you! Bama? Are you feeling better now?

UA (sheepishly): Yeah, a wittle bit.

SEC: Good. You know we've done so much for you this season. We're not going to let you down now.

I know we'd be pissed as hell if our last 6 league opponents were coming off bye weeks.

That's the difference. If they're going to get preferrential treatment on the field, they should at least get it balanced by a bad schedule.

this year if LSU had a bye week.

Seriously, I would like for someone to get his honest answer on that.

Can't you see it:

Reporter: "coach, close game today..would the outcome have been different if LSU had a bye week as well?"
Saban: "absolutely, we couldn't have won if they had an off week"

if people would actually turn the tv on and watch what's happening, Bama isn't winning b/c of where bye weeks fall.

Do people really examine bye weeks and place heavy emphasis on them when they do their preseason predictions?

Doesn't matter that much obviously, Bama just kicked everybody's *** and will continue to do so as long as Saban is there
