I'd settle for HDTV cameras down each sideline, goal lines and back of the end zone so we don't have to rely on the luck of the network to determine replays. Put the chip in the football to determine the spot of forward progress.

If I had the money, I'd design a field with a mesh netting below the dirt level that transmits a signal and tracks the ball.

I'd also have cameras positioned down every sideline and endline, as well as a camera positioned to check forward progress stuff set up every 10 yards.

Technology is here... why not use it.

Mount, I've said this a thousand times since the 2011 Auburn game. A chip in either end of football would have eliminated the crazy call that gave them the first down, and could have counted that TD on the last play of game.
