2-0 likely gets us the 6 seed playing Georgia/Oklahoma winner to face Missouri.

1-1 (both scenarios) likely gets us 7 seed playing Ole Miss/LSU winner to face Florida

0-2 likely gets us the 10 seed playing LSU to play Vanderbilt

Play with scenarios here: https://bball.notnothing.net/sec.php?sport=mbb

Best cases involve Ole Miss not upsetting Tennessee or Florida and A&M not upsetting Florida or Auburn. We are in good shape tiebreaker wise with the teams around us.

Was coming here to post the same. We will be the 6 or 7 seed in SEC tournament. Good info.

I think both of those are pretty safe bets.

In an effort to see if we could finish fifth, here is the scenario:

We go 2-0
Missouri goes 0-2 against Oklahoma and Kentucky
Kentucky loses to LSU and beats Missouri

Bottom line - if we win 1 of last 2, we can't be lower than 7th unless Ole Miss and A&M pull massive upsets. If we win last two, we will be the No. 6 seed in every scenario except the above where we would be the 5, but it includes LSU beating Kentucky.

Finishing 6th in the best league in the history of college basketball would be remarkable.
There are 4-5 very good teams in the SEC. And we are better than 320 other division 1 teams this year. But not quite good enough so far to beat these 4-5 teams.

I'm really sad to see Bama lose their 1 seed however ***

We just need to be seeded 6 or higher in the big dance. That would give us a great chance to advance and also not see a fellow SEC team in the 2nd round. If we're gonna get put out of the tourney, I'd rather it be by a non-SEC top seed. Also I think we will play better against a team that hasn't seen us in person yet.

Aren’t we a 9 seed as of today ?
How’s our path to 6,7 or 8?
We are tied for eighth and a game back of sixth behind ole Miss and a&m, which we have tiebreakers over.

most likely seed for us is 7 unless some major upsets occur. We could be 10 if we lose out and we will probably be 6 with an outside chance at 5 if we win out.
