What's your most likely non-SEC winner in the bunch? I'm going with Louisville or Baylor but I think the SEC gets a clean sweep this weekend.

Louisville is most likely non-SEC winner. Really I think only non-SEC team with much of a chance. But I still think they lose by 10+.

I watched Leavitt play QB twice against us therefore I am taking Clemson as the most likely. I assume their DC is better than Hutzler since he is alive. A good DC that has recently passed away still might be better than him though

I was hoping that the SEC has put the cats out of the fold by Saturday. I can only hope that Lane and his governor think the commissioner was just kidding about that “pro” thing. If it was up to Finebaum they would already be gone.

On the flip side, Kiffin and Weiss have a way of getting a lot out of their QBs. He's getting better coaching than he got at Arizona St. And he's got a better supporting cast offensively. And I don't think Clemson is necessarily any better than we were last year.

Everybody is a double digit favorite except for Auburn and OM.

I think Auburn beats Baylor comfortably.

OM could have some trouble though. Louisville less than 3 hours away from Nashville, I bet that’s a good crowd on both sides.

I just don’t know what to think of Golding yet, and he’s gotta face a really good coach in Jeff Brohm right off the bat. And also dealing with the distractions of the Kiffin / LSU circus, and new coordinators on both sides of the ball. It would not shock me at all if Louisville wins that game and OM gets a rude awakening.

Got to remember in the playoffs he had all of Kiffin's assistants that stayed just for the playoffs. The only change on that team after Kiffin leaving was Kiffin being gone. All Golding had to do was let the offensive assistants do what they did all season. He doesn't have them now. It's kind of like after Leach died, and Arnett had our offensive staff to win the bowl game, then he fired the offensive staff and had a terrible season the next year. It is possible it could end up like like an Arnett situation for them. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Well it was that plus Trinidad Chambliss. A QB playing like that can elevate a lot of things.

But in Ole Miss' defense, they did what most people should do when a successful coach leaves.......promote from within. Something was working, so you want things to stay relatively the same and make small changes. And if it goes downhill after a few years, you make a change and not many oppose it.

Different coordinators on both sides of the ball compared to the Playoff, though. Also have to replace 5 of their Top 6 receivers from last year.

In our case, dumbshlt Arnett actively got rid of everything that had to do with the Air Raid. I have no idea what Golding is truly doing behind the scenes, but it sure doesn't seem like what our idiot RuNdAbAwLeRs did.
