Yeah, why weren't we all over him. He (and Coleman-Lands) is deadly from 3!!! Know who your shooters are and cover them!
And that's yet another area where we missed Lindsey, a long, quick defender.

Not making excuses, but simply pointing out that the sky is not falling.

Illinois played very well tonight, but we are looking very shaky right now without Lindsey...making turnovers and with some players shooting horribly. From what little of the game I saw tonight (absolutely hellacious T-storm with sustained 50 mph winds that knocked out power), we missed a lot of bunnies, too.

Wrong. Obviously you don't watch a lot of BB and it shows.

Purdue game??? No defending that one.
This is an average at best Illini team and second half we had almost no effective offense against them - throwing up a lot of shots and seeing what would fall. That did not look like a tourney offense to even a novice viewer.
Defense was pretty solid though.
