Assuming we could do enough to play our way into an 8-9 seed (highly unlikely, but win our last 3, make SECT champ., etc.), would you take it? Or would you rather sneak insomewhere in the 11-13 range?

Personally, I would rather be an 11-12 with a potential 2nd round matchup against a 3-4. As an 8-9, this team has almost no chance to beat Kansas, Syracuse, etc. in the 2nd round. But maybe we have a slightly better chance to beat a team like Temple, New Mexico, Georgetown, etc.

I know, I know - if we beat Rider, Richmond, WKU, Ark., and Bama, thenthis isn't an issue.

In fact, I'd like to see us as a 12 seed against a 5th seeded Butler in New Orleans.

I think Xavier would be a good 4 seed in our bracket too.

If we make it, I fully expect to be a 12-13 seed. That being said, Lunardi has us in as a 13 seed today against Michigan State, opposite Xavier/St. Mary's. All of this will happen in Spokane.

I'd sure take that — it would take a lot of work to get us into the 8-9 range anyway.

I don't think we want anything to do with Butler. They're a pretty hot team right now. It sounds strange, but I wouldn't want to see a Big 10 team either - that's a style that we won't be able to handle very well.
