I am taking this one game at a time. We haven't earned looking ahead or thinking about our potential path due to our dismal tournament performance since 2019. I will root like heck for my team, game by game.
JWILL, Seth and Bilas all picked the Gators to win it all. All had pretty much chalk in the E8.
I guess there's two ways of thinking about that...lol
I mean I did a bracket and it's hard to not pick chalk. I feel like the auburn msu bracket might screw me. I don't trust michigan state or auburn.
Florida is my pick as well though.

Not saying it's gamblers but I've heard gamblers say that they love when someone is a big favorite.
Uconn was last year and won every game by double digits.
I agree that a lot of years the trendy pick doesn't win.
I feel like that year Uconn was a clear cut favorite.
This year I don't feel like one team has separated themselves............but rather like 5 lol. UF is one of them. But there's def others just as good if not better.

They sure knew the injury status of Flagg, Fland, and the ISU guy though.

Out of 32 mens and womens teams the SEC got 23 programs in the 2 tournaments. Impressive.
UConn was the trendy pick last year and they rolled to the title
I suspect UNC's inclusion had something to do with their superior Net Ranking. They are over 15 spots above both IU and WVU. Xavier ranked higher, to a lesser degree, than IU and WVU as well.
Again Uconn was a clear cut favorite to win the title.
On March 16th, only Houston was rated higher in Kenpom than Uconn and it wasn't by much.
This year you have many teams that are equally good at the top.
Florida is getting more love than those other teams when in actuality the odds should be balanced between say 5 teams.
Didn't UNC make last 4 in the year they made the run? If so they missed and last 4 in 3 times in Davis 5 years
