Odd commercial about the women’s national championship. Are they telling us we need to watch more?

Can someone explain to me how Buffalo New York is in the west regional?

I don't understand these geographics at all

Our team selection party seemed to have the worst set up so far of teams shown What are we doing we have a brand spanking new facility gives these guys some digs!

Yeah could have showcased something nicer in the background. But we're still kinda new at this.

The pod system. I think they are trying to get more attendance by localizing the early rounds - been happening for a few years.

Assuming you're serious, this was done a number of years ago, to help reduce the travel for teams and obviously allow more fans to see their teams in person. It doesn't always work out that way, but it's a big improvement vs the old way.
Rather than think of the 4 corners of the brackets as directions, think of them as A, B, C & D.
The geography is relatively irrelevant, at least for the first 2 rounds.

The commercial didn’t even really make sense as the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game was obviously on TV
ya, I think it's just all these commercials are promoting the fact that no one watches women's sports on TV. Are they gonna pay me to watch? Don't get it

They score some political points by pretending that people don’t watch because of sexism or whatever instead of the fact that a HS boys team could win that tournament
