Just checking. See so many who don't who run to this board to recommend hiring the flavor of the day
Bruce Pearl is all over Santa Clara upsetting us. It’s interesting how he keeps picking that one out, like he can’t wait to say it.
So sad that we no longer command any respect on the national stage. Sure wish we had brought back Pitino rather than Pope.
Nah I wouldn’t recommend a coach without knowing quite a bit about them or seeing them play over a couple years.
He knows Pope is a fraud I think. He started pre season in on him. He was right.
I think we win. Then lose to Iowa St. I think that's the most likely outcome here.
And it just makes sense doesn't it?
This team has been hovering in the 25-30 range in Kenpom for nearly the entire season.
That used to be the rules back in the day but when all these conf became super conf they changed it to only the teams in the top 4 seed lines have to be in different regions (at least the first 4 of them) since St John's was a 5 seed they threw that out the window which is dumb as hell the top 2 conf teams should never be in the same region.
I don’t know how BYU got ranked as high as they did. They haven’t been good after they lost their shooter!
He knows he has a few years left of coaching in him and he wants this job...... It's an audition for the new AD for the job!
I would love for him to get a shot here to see what he could do as a coach.
Me too and if you gave him 22 million and I guarantee we'd have a list of great recruits for the following year.....
At the end of the day it's only one game in a season. St John's resume wasn't good to begin with. They are always considered by the committee obviously not a guarantee one single game will help you.
