Why is it that the second WG or Willis (or Mulder if the planets align and he sees the floor) makes one mistake they get yanked, but Bricoe has free reign to do whatever with no recourse? Pretty frustrating.

Idk. But why Mulder inbounds the ball into a covered/defended Briscoe, I have no idea. Why WG has a walked called on him every game, I have no idea. And why Willis looks like he's still drunk from his gravel nap, I also have no idea.
Because Cal plays "favorites". He must figure that to build confidence in those guys is not important so he constantly is making them afraid to make a mistake.
At least twice a game Briscoe catches the ball and travels on his first step. Anyone else gets yanked for that.
I'm starting to think Briscoe was promised minutes if he came to U.K.

Briscoe has won a couple games for us this year, but I agree if he is playing poorly he should not get minutes just as Willis or Gabriel sit a lot when they are having bad games. Even Bam has a shorter leash than Briscoe. Not doing Briscoe any favors leaving him on the floor for all the world to see, including scouts, when he is having a bad game.
If I could like this over and over again I would. I don't see why so many are blinded by the fact that this is what the program is all about.
Dude, that's how life works. Everybody gets treated the same in first grade, maybe. Once jimmy Johnson cut his 3rd string quarterback for falling asleep in a film session. A reporter asked him what he'd do if Aikman had been the one sleeping. "I'd have tapped him on the shoulder and said, Troy, wake up, you need to watch this."

Those guys made a lot more than just one mistake before they were taken out. None of them play defense like Briscoe either, he takes the other teams best player every night, like or not that's probably the biggest reason he plays. He takes on the dirty jobs no one else wants. You could probably give him some credit for being tied for the most points in the first half to go along with 2 rebounds, and 3 assist. Turns it over too much still though.
Briscoe does more than Willis and Mulder . So his mistakes are overlooked because he produces in a variety of ways . The other three are one dimensional, Will and Mulder are three point shooters who are bad defenders that do little else . So if they're not hitting you take them out .
Yeah. I must be missing all this lock down defending that was getting so much hype at the beginning of the season.
Briscoe will run through a wall for Cal, that's what Cal wants hustle and energy and leadership and he shows it. He also is out of control and and makes to many turnovers sometimes but gets to stay on the floor when maybe he should sit. I know he is trying to make Mulder, Gabriel and Willis understand certain things and that is a good way to do it, but they may play timid knowing they are coming out if they miss step. Cal does give Briscoe more rope than anybody and it's noticeable. If the bench is good at getting your attention it will work for everybody not just those three.
If you can find that answer let us know. If this team is going to make a move in March they will need Willis and WG and Mulder to make shoots not be scared they are getting yanked and I have lost my mind over Briscoe, it's like he sees his NBA shoot fading away and he is forcing everything and only making it fade faster.
