He's sliding for sure. Unless he picks it up these last few games, I can't see it being worth his while to go this year.
That begs some serious questions about his future here: Based on what we've seen from him this season, would we consider him the starter for next year? Would we want him to be? He entered this season as the undisputed starter, but if he stays, should it be an open QB competition in spring and into fall camp?
A lot have wondered whether HE would want to return here, but nobody has asked if WE would want him to return. Do we consider late 2024 Sellers or the 2025 Sellers to be the real Sellers? If the latter, should we move on?
