Anyone have experience in doing this? Does Stubhub take a percentage of the seller's profit or does Stubhub apply all fees to the buyer?

I live out of state and not in a place with a lot of State fans so I tend to sell on StubHub quite a bit. They take 15% off the sales price. Shipping costs are passed on to the buyer. They offer a nice feature where you can see the listing price of all tickets in your section and the stadium as well as the price of all tickets sold in each section and the stadium. It makes is really nice when you are trying to find the market value of your seats. Hope this helps.

Stubhub gets juice from both buyer and seller

But it's convenient and simple and, if something gets screwed up, they'll supposedly give you your money back, although I've not had direct experience with that.

I've both bought and sold on StubHub multiple times.

As the seller, set your price high enough to compensate for their cut. As the buyer, consider that you're paying a little extra for some measure of protection from the intermediary.

Yes thank you very much. I have used stubhub in the past to purchase state tickets, but I haven't sold on there. I will list a ticket later on sixpack and then move it to stubhub if nothing comes of it.

If you list a ticket, do you have to keep it up there for a specified time frame? Or can you pull a ticket listing off of there at any point in time?

Here's how it works:

Anyone have experience in doing this? Does Stubhub take a percentage of the seller's profit or does Stubhub apply all fees to the buyer?

You choose the sale price, and can change it whenever you want. As the seller, you get 85% of the sale value. As a buyer, you pay a 10% fee on top of the sale value PLUS the cost of shipping the tickets FedEx. In the end whatever the sale price is, Stubhub gets 25% counting the 10% extra the buyer pays.

So if you sell two tickets for $50 each, the buyers pays $110 + shipping, and you get $85.

As the seller, you also have access to what every single seat for sale in the stadium is listed for, and what every single seat that has sold has sold for and when it sold, so it helps you determine your prices pretty handily.

I also live out of state but prefer the 6pack ticket exchange forum

I can only go to a handful of games each year, so I sell my remaining tickets to people whom I know are Dawgs. You can't really control for that on StubHub. Also, if you are a season ticket holder and are going to sell some of your tickets, it may be in your best interest to "vet" who gets them when you aren't there so that you don't piss off your neighbors when you do go to games.
