We must have "given" tix away. Years ago, when I work for a large company in West Point, often LT would "give" 500 tix away to us on Friday for the employees. So maybe, we are wanting a "sellout" so we give or sell tix at a reduce rate($5/$10) to large companies in the GTR?

I know with 2 kids, ages 4 and 7, this weekend was not an option for us.

Say what you want but it was a lot more important to my family to go trick or treat than it was to see the dawgs play this weekend. I would have much rather gone to the game but it is not always my choice.

With UK returning so many, it being Halloween, and I know a few State people that are going to Talladega instead of the game.

Laugh or criticize, but do not underestimate this. I think its a big deal.

2 out of 5 in my crew aren't making it. I'm looking for replacements right now.

From what I remember about going Trick R Treating, most people go right after dark, and some people go before dark, especially the ones with really little kids. People don't go at 9 or 10. So, what exactly is wrong with having it on a Sunday? Or any day for that matter? It seems like when my parents took my little brother, they were always home by 8 or so at the latest.

Maybe my memory is faulty, or the way my family did it isn't necessarily the way everyone does it.

The far end section on the West side of the top deck all of a sudden emptied out at one time last week late in the game and I heard thats where the Scouts were. Doubt they bought those but the stands were originally full and somehow MSU probably got a good write off from it.

So the Southern Baptists and other ultra-conservatives, who will actually be watching Sunday Night Football, can say that everybody ought to be at church every time the doors are open.

that Halloween is really a form of devil worship. No kidding. I just remember it as too much candy and a lot of fun.

Regardless, that doesn't make sense anyway. The people who believe it's devil worship obviously don't celebrate Halloween anyway. So, why would they care what day it's on?

But all these are reasons why one would move it off of a Sunday, specifically. I'm pretty sure they move it from other days as well. It just happens to be a Sunday this year. These people who move itseemingly (to me)want it on a non-school night. And from what I remember about it, there's no reason for that. If anything, celebrating Halloween on a non-school night just gives teenagers a better chance to make trouble.

who think Halloween is devil worship also will not be attending the game because they are afraid to leave the house that night. All those kidnappings and human sacrifices, you know.

A normal Saturday night most cities have their patrols at full strength while Sunday nights are one of the slowest so fewer cops on duty requiring extra staff for something like Halloween.
