so jackie and I take my sons bowling last night. on the first bowl of the game jackie approaches the lane, swings his arm, releases the ball, and picks up his foot on an ever so graceful follow through. however, what happened next wasnt so graceful. somehow, when he was hopping on one foot watching the ball down the lane he steps in the gutter and proceeds to stumble with his right foot in the left gutter of our lane and his left foot in the right gutter of the lane next to us. he attempts to regain his balance and stumbles about halfway down the lane at which point he falls down and rolls across the neighboring lane. i swear it was the funniest 17ing thing i have ever seen in my life. the entire packed bowling alley stopped and laughed for 5 minutes. he had lane oil all over himself.
after i had a chance to make sure he was ok, the first thing that came to mind was if Rich Johanningmeier was going pop out and issue him a LOI for lane violation. i cracked myself up.
