Good to see a freshman GOP Senator call it like it is, and stand up to the bs that makes it look like Trump is the champion of the common man

Sasse was hard anti-Trump even before the election. Trump's approach just isn't working. You can't just piss people left and right, including those in your own party. You don't own a company over which you can dictate what people do anymore, rather you've got to work WITH people if you want to get anything done. The political power is diluted across a lot of people and that's a good thing, as a glance at places where it's not diluted across a lot of people shows us.

Trump is good at making big news stories but do you notice that not a lot actually getting done? Eventually you've got to actually do something.

It is going to be very interesting to see if someone runs against Trump in 2020. It's far away but it's still fun to think about.

What Trump has done is create an environment where his people does not trust media reports, thus anything "negative" they can just shout "fake" and discredit it, even factual information. If I were CNN, MSNBC, etc, I'd take a different approach. I would simply ignore him.....100%. No news, stories, etc. on the president. Find other things to cover. He wants, feeds on the attention. So, don't give him any.

Absolutely wrong.

MSM has sewn this distrust for years and year. Trump is only the messenger.

Typical snowflake mentality. Blame everyone else. If people dont trust the media it might be because they are dishonest.

Don't agree with Sasse on many positions but do appreciate his rare honesty and willingness to expose the problem in the public. Wish it would wear off on the board righties but it won't. But more and more of the base is starting to recognize the fraud and con job they fell over.

Do you just have venomous words, or do you(non-liberal) want to offer statements of what we fell over? I will answer. NO - nothing to offer as usual.

You fell for Trump being a man of integrity, that only has the working class at heart. For one.
