......messages three times over the state of the football program. I finally told him that I'd let the rest of the season play out, good or bad, and wait until then to e-mail him again. So, I'm holding to that. I think Greg is smart enough to see what's going on and figure out what to do.

it's optimistic, and it doesn't necessarily mean that we'll get better under Croom.

i e-mailed him immediately after the game and i think i caught him with his emotions running higher than when he e-mailed you. He was very disappointed in our program where it was and i'll leave it at that.

I'll say it.

Athletic director of SEC school replies to random fan email by saying he's disappointed in our program? Sell that **** elsewhere. Greg Byrne does not strike me as the type to do something that idiotic, no matter what he might truly think.

Riiiiight. Your and idiot.

I could create an "email" from Greg Byrne saying whatever I wanted it to say in about 30 seconds using MS Word.

Sell that **** elsewhere. I could create an e-mail saying anything that I want. I don't know what Byrne is thinking. But your "e-mail" doesn't have **** to do with my thought process.

No AD in his right mind would publicly express his true thoughts at this stage, to any Joe. ( or 99) or whomever,

I'm going to spare you a long diatribe email and post this in a shorter format.

Something has got to be done.

1. Five years of BAD offenses.
2. Piss-poor in-game coaching decisions from a 5th year head coach.
3. A salary increase with decreased results.
4. A confrontational attitude toward the fans.
5. No accountability for poor results from assistants.

Above is Byrne's response. I borrowed someone else's list and wrote a very short email because I was in a hurry. I'm not totally sure what he means but I'm guessing he agrees?

I suppose that means he got a bunch of angry emails -- too many to respond to.

Also, that's an awesome list. Whoever wrote that is brilliant.
