Surprising the all time series is that close. I wonder when the last time either team has won 7 straight series vs the other.
Seems like in Bianco's early years he'd throw a weekend starter in the Mayor/Guvs trophy games to get wins. I remember Polk's "this isn't football" quote to David Murray after yet another loss in the series. Someone help me out.
He’s had periods of success against us. People forget that before this streak started we had lost the series three years in a row from 2013-2015, including a four game sweep in ‘15. We also lost the SEC series every year from 2004-2008. We finally broke the streak in Cohen’s first year when we won two games in Oxford pretty shockingly, we were awful and they were SEC co-champions that year.
