This has me a bit worried. I wonder if my my wife and I are more vunerable to the virus. My wife is pretty overweight and last time she had bloodwork, she was close to being diabetic. For me, I have had periods of chest pain during stressful times. Never had it checked out because I couldn't afford to at the time, especially because I spent so much momey on my wife's health. Last post on stats from Lousiana has me worried very worried. We can afford to go the doctor now, but everything is shut down now up here because of the virus. Not afraid of me dying, but we have 3 young boys. Sorry, just had to write this asking for prayers.

Hey, man. Hunker down to the extent you can and keep yourself and family from others for the time being. I'm not much of a prayer but I got you on this one.

preacher dawg, I am praying for you and your wife now. Anxiety is awful and probably at its peak rn.

Jesus Christ is your strength in weakness.
He is your courage in the midst of fear.
He is your wisdom in the midst of foolishness.
He is your righteousness in the midst of sin.
He is your life in the midst of disease and death.

Peace ✌️

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
**2 Timothy‬ *1:7‬ *NLT‬‬

Relax, Preacher. You serve a God bigger than any virus, bigger than any war, bigger than any pain or fear. Don’t buy into the fear mongering. Take proper precautions, but don’t lose sight of your life’s purpose. Don’t lose sight of the fact that you were put here to serve and fall under the protection of the Creator of all things.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”
**Romans‬ *8:38‬ *NLT‬‬

You see? Nothing can separate us from the love of God. God is unchanging. He is unmoved by this disease. It did not surprise Him the way it surprised us. His plan for you and your family did not change because of this virus or any other circumstance life may throw at you today.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.”
**Jeremiah‬ *29:11-12‬ *NLT‬‬

Again, God’s will for your life is good. His purpose in your life is not affected by COVID-19. He is unmoved and you can take comfort in His strength and in His will and word. Go to Him in prayer. Lay out your fears and leave them with Him, so that you can go forward in life without wavering in your faith.

My prayer for you today is that you realize that God loves you and your family and that He has a plan for you that is not affected by this virus. Be careful and be smart, but don’t live your life in fear of losing it. God loves you.
