Serious question. Should we make Holder a starter?

I know he is an awesome closer but he only has 1 save this year because we're behind after the first 3 innings because our starters can't get outs. Holder was great for 5.2 innings against Arizona. He would at least be able to give us 5 innings which is 3 more innings than what we are getting out if our current starters. What do y'all think?

Hell no. Holder has two good pitches.

Citing Arizona as an example is a ridiculous point. They aren't a regional team. Then again, we probably aren't either AT THIS POINT.

In Arizona Holder went further than he ever has. And wasn't shut down by the way. He is very good for an inning or two but to think he will be a dominant starter is a reach. But with that said we need to try something different quick!

Good point.

I don't know what the hell we can do out there on the mound. Not a single pitcher has improved from last year. It's mind boggling. Assuming you did not improve the technical aspect of your pitching at all during the entire offseason, just the extra strength alone gained through lifting should make you a better player.
