...I've been reading some comments over at NAFOOM just to see the reaction from Saturday. It seems to me the consensus over there is the game was well in hand, and Nutt called off the dogs too early because he didn't want to embarrass his old friend Jack Crowe. Now, I didn't see the game because I was drinking in the Junction, but this seems highly unrealistic to me. If that were the case, Nutt would've turned the heat back on when they got within a TD or two, correct? I think it's a cheap justification for a humiliating defeat. Whatever makes them feel better, I guess.
