Were we too hard on Fitz last year? I know a lot of fans, including myself, said that he wasn’t a good fit and that once Moorhead got his guy, the offense will work. Well now seeing that he has his guy with an upgrade in receivers and the offense still isn’t good, does it make you take back the blame we put on Fitz?

To a degree anyway. He could not throw accurately but his running ability actually bailed joes sorry *** offense out

Fitz had his own set of faults, but I think we were too hard on him. I also posit that his numbers would not have been much different under Mullen.

The better question is if we were too hard on Hevesy. I don't recall so many sacks with the D rushing 3 under his watch.

Yes. A lot of people on this board owe Fitzgerald an apology. I heard for a year how he was the problem on offense last year & Moorhead just needed to get his QB to run the offense. Well, He’s got TWO of his QBs & better WRs & the offense is worse.

I always felt bad for Fitz. He was never John Elway, but he made some plays with his arm under Mullen. I thought the excuses we gave Moorhead because of Fitz's shortcomings were disingenuous. Fitz deserved better.

As for Moorhead? There's nothing I can add that has already been said.

All Joemo needs to do is fire his offensive coordinator and the offense would improve.
