Seriously, what do you do with Rea?

I'm past being pissed about it. It's just sad. You know he has to be mentally done and very down on himself. He knows what's coming and cant do a damn thing about it. Do you send him to curveball hitting camp somewhere this summer? I think you change something NOW. What's it gonna hurt? Move him up in the box? Bat him lefthanded? He's solid in the field, I would hate to sit him. Just what do you do with this guy?

he needs to have someone off speed pitches and curve balls to him all summer. As a former baseball player, Rea has hit rock bottom at the plate.

he's going to stay in the lineup for his glove. Cohen prefers d over offense with this club.

Well, his glove has been a big contributor in several victories, not to mention that he had a few game winning hits early in the season. I think he'll get it going; hopefully, it will be in time for this post season.

Its just more noticed in a college setting because of the shortness of the season. One bad slump can ruin a season. Didnt David Ortiz start off the season something like 3-43 last year? Unfortunately we dont have the luxury of 162 games for him to play it out

he is in until just now. Over the last 4 weeks (and 5 SEC series, including this one) he is 6 for 56. That is just brutal. But, don't know what you do about it now. Like I said earlier, I'm not sure you can stick anybody else in there that will make that much difference at the plate in comparison to what we would be giving up defensively.

He should have been benched at least a week ago. Maybe not permanently, but he needed to be given a couple of days off.

Of course the injuries are there but I thought they were cleared to playby now. I would have thought going in they would be more of a factor. I don't see why Henderson isn't getting more of a shot with our current hitting situation, at least giving new guys a shot. Unless his injury is still there, I don't know. And Woodruff as a hitter, I thought would be farther along. If he's not getting swings in THIS lineup, that makes me nervous.

....right now, he's hit the freshman wall and the pitchers have
himfigured out. As long as they're going to be throwing him curve balls away, he needs to start hitting to the opposite field. There won't be much power there, but after hitting a few singles and doubles he'll start getting his confidence again.

Henderson has a broken hand and is done for the year. Woodruff has been terrible at the plate for whatever reason. I thought Bracewell was back since he pitched a couple weeks ago, but they must see something in his bullpen sessions that is keeping him out. Of course, pitching isn't the issue.

the ladder and it appears Wes is at a point where your recommendation might not be too far out of line.

Wes has been injure a great deal this year. Also, he was out last year with a pretty major injury.
