The wife and I re-watched the last 3 eps of season 1 this morning. I forgot how good it is. Excited to start season 2 tonight.

If you're looking for a weird tense psychological drama, buckle up.

If you haven’t started season 2, highly recommend going back and watching either entire first season or last few episodes. We started ep 1 before being like “wtf.” I can remember two days ago, let alone 2 years ago.
All that said, fantastic show. Love it.

It's worth watching at LEAST the final 2 eps of season 1. The waffle party and egg bar alone... yooo

Is it too weird like Season 2 Westword or is it weird enough but still good like Season 1 Westworld?
The first season is like westworld 1. Fascinating and gripping. It helps to follow episode recaps (my favorite site is vulture) to catch subtle nuggets that I may miss.

Just started season 2 severance (1st ep). I agree the wheels came off on westworld 2.

Thanks for the rec everyone. Six episodes in and I love this show. My wife is famous for getting interested in shows I watch 3 episode a deep and I’m pausing every 10 minutes explaining things for the next episode. I told her do not even attempt that. If she wants to catch up, she needs to watch on her own time

Without knowing where it’s going, would anyone do it?

While being scary not knowing what goes on at work. It would be nice to have it completely shut off.

I can’t remember but couldn’t the innie just cut some message into his skin? If you wanted to communicate with outside, just scratch message on stomach.

No, they had technology for that as well. Remember the pen cap?

I'm sorry, but I'm two episodes in and I just don't get it. Slow as 17. Please tell me there's some sort of plot twist soon. I loved West World. The wife is starting to doubt you guys, help me out here.

It took me awhile. I was ready to quit. I usually do, if it's not worth my time. I quit the penguin after 3 eps that everyone here was excited about.

This one ramps hard, if you can hurdle the first 3 or 4.

I don’t think it’s for everyone. It’s like a slow build Lost. To me it’s the opposite trajectory of Westworld, the mystery has payoffs and direction whereas Westworld just said let’s write crazyballs concepts and hopefully it will make sense.

Can someone make a gif of goat lady ringing the cowbell?
Finally caught up on Severance.

I saw that scene and said to my wife, “we invented that.” She was like the cowbell? I said no, the cowbell on a handle. Now I’m wondering if it’s true. Was the handled cowbell invented by a State fan or is that just lore?

Also, does that mean Mississippi State exists in the world of Severance?

Maybe. But Jackson State absolutely does.

Does it get more engaging after episode 1? I tried to watch because of all the how but it was just odd. Didn’t finish it.

Mine likes to glance at her phone in real time and then ask questions about what’s going on during a show.

This show is soooo boring. It drags through all this stuff just to tell you "that's life"

It's definitely not for everyone.

My wife is obsessed with all the mystery and lore, but as an avid LOST fan back in the day, I'm like don't bother.

Exactly why I NEVER start a new series until its been announced that they are in the final season of the series.

I thought the season 2 finale was exceptional. They could easily leave it just like that without another season.

True statement.
Season one was such a cliffhanger. I would have been PISSED if I had watched it before season 2 was out.
