He is calling out Slive and Houston Nutt on CJ, Nick he did notname the other one. He said Nutt is flinging money all over the place. I glad someone else sees it.

What's wrong with the thought that the reason he switched was because the two coaches recruiting him left?

He felt good about MSU when those guys were there. He knew them well, his momma knew them well and he was all set.

Both of them left within a short period of time, and he's looking around thinking, now what? Our recruiters and coaches saw an opening, rushed into his living room to talk with momma and build off of that circumstance. He liked what he heard from our guys (lies or not) and then once it got out that he was de-committing, you know the rest.

Why is that scenario less plausible than an OM booster walking into his living room with a bag full of cash and a mysterious no-show job for momma?

He's come up with reason after reason for why he doesn't like MSU since Christmas. Hud/Diaz leaving, people on facebook, not as comfortable with the staff, blah blah blah..

it was a guy from further away. CJ has been around and to MSU many times and has a former teammate on our team as well as having the LB position wide open on our team. I do think that if those coaches were still here he likely would have never got into discussions with UM but I believe there is something flaky going on given the number of folks here hearing about it plus the suspicious stuff with Brassell and Singleton as well as Morrow's FB post about people getting stuff. There is a lot of smoke around for there not to be any fire.

...his comments for choosing OM. And let me say I haven't seen much at all from him. But he stated that he would love hanging out at Nutt's house, hunting and fishing and horseback riding. I've also seen where he has stated that facebook harrassment has caused him to drop MSU completely.

These seem like such feeble excuses coming from a guy who is going to college primarily to play football. I haven't seen any mention of what he expects at OM regarding football. And let me repeat that he may have said something to this matter, but I haven't seen it.

I really think he sought and received benefits to sign with OM because of this drastic turnaround, the multiple excuses, and Big D's claim that his coach said he was looking for a handout.

I would suspect some of the Bama folks who were after Brassell gave him their insight. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what happened. all of this was orchestrated while MSU was at the Gator Bowl and the cash entered the picture. Shane was correct on one thing, Dan has had his eyes opened as to how crooked the conference is and the head ringmaster sits on his hands because he could care less. It is all about money with Mike Slive and he would love for another league member to get in the bowl picture to help him fill his coffieurs. Everybody associated with MSU knows what happened and all the BS about Diaz leaving and Facebook crap is just a smoke screen. Scott Stricklin was told about some of this three weeks ago so lets see if he makes sure the NCAA gets the facts and says to hell with Slive. Only time will tell but Nutt is desperate and he has 2,000,000 reasons to do just what he is doing and he has brought out the Rebel guard to do what he needed.

he has just decommitted from a program, which after this years draft will most likely have put 3 linebackers in the NFL in the past two years. One of those 3, Jamar Chaney, is already starting for the Eagles. Sure our d-coordinator changed, but Wilson has been here the whole time Manny has and will not drastically change the defensive scheme. So according to you it makes sincefor a kid who has been an MSU fan and committ for the last several years to all of a sudden decide he wants to leave a program that linebackers excel in, has a ton of upside, and an opening for him to start as a true freshman to go to a rival program that, lets be honest, will be doing good to win 5 games next year? I dont think so, you along with every other person that follows recruiting in this state knows that there is alot of very questionable activity going on.</p>

jumping into the bidding wars than have us trying to get him to clean things up. In the current slimy environment I'm not sure we will help ourselves by turning in anything we have on somebody else. Heck, on the Cam stuff we only submitted stuff that had to do OUR recruitment of him and look at all the backlash.

So he looses two of the three coaches he was comfortable with at MSU (keep in mind Mullen was also recruiting him) but rather than give the new coaches a chance to reestablish that comfort level he let's a new group that he has had little contact with into his house and bam they convince him that TSUN is the place to be. Yeah, I'm sure that is the way it happened. Wink Wink!<div>
</div><div>In these type of situations usually the most plausible scenario is the correct one. A black bear showing up with a nice big picnic basket sounds more reasonable to me. I can just see Nix and Nutt walking through the door yelling, "Yogi is in the House!".</div>

I can see the conversation next year.<div>
</div><div>Slive, "CJ, did you know that your mama received illegal payments from a TSUN booster?"</div><div>CJ, "What???, my mama would not do that. I don't know what you are talking about and I am insulted by your accusations!"</div><div>Nutt, "CJ, just got back from washing your Escalade. Oops! Sorry, didn't know you were in a meeting."</div><div>Slive, "So, you are saying you did not know?"</div><div>CJ, "Look lame brain, let me spell it out for you, NO!"</div><div>Slive, "Ok, nothing to investigate here. Play On!"</div><div>
</div>

that is not what the universe of college football recruiting is. Ole Miss is not the only program signing recruits that until late in the process were not even considering said school. Stop trying to make yourself feel good about it and just understand that its a dirty business. Its been going on for decades everywhere and I think the NCAA is finally understanding its too big to police and not even worth it. The sooner the people who get mad at so-called illegal recruiting understand that nothing is really against the rules anymore the sooner they will have to stop asking themselves why a player went here or there.

of the lanyard yanking. Seems that would stick with him a lot more than some anonymous FB postings. But that's just me. He must be a real forgiving young man.

The point was 3 pro linebackers in 2 years. It is not a bragging points but more selling to kids. I guess you are more into buying than selling.</p>

...then that blows your argument completely out of the water. CJ ran down Ole Miss, the team, and the coaches, for 14 months before deciding to go there.
