Ok, so does Smith have 1 year left? And would he have to redshirt for transferring still?

12-13 didnt play because he was kicked off the team
13-14 ??????

Since he has been in college, he has only played 2 seasons. And his medical redshirt can apply for his first year.

So since he wasnt on a team this season, does he still have to sit out a year at Alcorn, or is he eligible immediately?
And will he have 1 or 2 seasons of eligibility when he does play? He only played 2 seasons at MSU, but doesnt this past 12-13 season count against his total clock time how long he has to play?
Or would this past season effectively be a redshirt season even though he wasnt on Alcorn, since he also wasnt on MSU?
